Valsangiacomo Reserva Vermut is a very special white vermouth that is aged in american oak barrels for 5 years.
This Vermouth is made from a Macabeo white wine base with 24 botanicals of mediterranean and alpine origin, among them which stand out are Gentian, Wormwood, Coriander, Savory, Sage, Oregano, Chamomile, Sauco, Orange peel. The golden color is due to the addition of grape must caramel.
Displays floral and balsamic aromas, softened by notes of vanilla from the oak ageing. On the palate, it’s very intense, with light bitter notes. A very exquisite aperitif that will leave you longing for that next sip.
About House Vittore
Vittore has a history that dates back to the origins of Cherubino Valsangiacomo in 1831, Switzerland. That year, Vittore Valsangiacomo founded a winery named after him in Chiasso, in the Swiss municipality of Ticino, near the Italian border. It is the first family's first winery. At the end of the 19th century, his son Cherubino Valsangiacomo decided to open a wine export company in Valencia and Alicante, attracted by the logistical conditions of their ports and the excellent fruit of the land. Cherubino, like his father, puts his name to the wineries. In 1890 the business became so important that Cherubino Valsagiacomo had various facilities in Chiva, Requena, Utiel, Monóvar, Yecla and Grao de Valencia, the latter being the company's headquarters until 1997.
