Springbank 10 Years, 2007 Local Barley, Campbeltown Scotch Whisky (57.3%, 70cl)
This whisky has been distilled from barley grown on the Kintyre Peninsula within a few miles of Springbank. The barely is then malted on their own malt floors using traditional production techniques before it is turned into this highly sought after spirit. Matured into whisky on-site, making it 100% Campbeltown Single Malt. Bottled at cask strength.
Springbank is now in the 5th generation of the Mitchell family. The distillery and practice reach back into the old times of a one site production. Since 1828, Springbank has focused on whisky with the Campbeltown flair, maintaining many of the traditional processes used by their ancestors. The team at Springbank is dedicated to quality, and is the only distillery in Scotland to produce three different malts on one site, giving the whisky drinker a mix of tastes and experiences to enjoy.
The distillery is located in Campbeltown, situated on the southern side of the Kintyre Peninsula on the west coast.
