Selected and bottled by Signatory Vintage, one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, this expression forms part of their highly regarded 100 Proof Edition series, which presents whiskies at a traditional British 100 proof strength of 57.1% ABV.

Distilled in 2010 from an undisclosed distillery in the Speyside region, the whisky undergoes a vatting process combining single malts matured in first fill Oloroso sherry butts and first fill bourbon hogsheads. This combination marries the heavy, dried fruit intensity of first fill Spanish oak with the sweet vanilla, honeyed malt, and delicate oak spice of American white oak. Bottled at its natural color without chill filtration, it offers an authentic representation of well aged Speyside malt.

The profile is rich, balanced, and vibrant, displaying dynamic layers from both cask types. The nose opens with aromas of dark raisins, sticky dates, and orange zest, followed by vanilla custard, toasted almonds, and warm baking spices. On the palate, the high proof provides a full, viscous mouthfeel, delivering flavors of dark chocolate, dried figs, honeyed barley, and candied ginger, balanced by structured oak tannins and a touch of roasted espresso.
