Savanna, Art of Rum, REPY#3, Rhum Reunion (57%, 70cl)

A distinctive double blend of one agricole and one grand arôme rum, Savanna RéPY #3 captures the unique duality of Réunion Island’s distilling tradition. Crafted under the AGA mark in 2019, it’s tropical, expressive, and deeply aromatic — a rare island bottling for true rum enthusiasts.

The two styles were distilled separately at Savanna Distillery and then married together before tropical ageing in Vault 4, the distillery’s humid cellar, where constant heat and moisture accelerate maturation. This environment intensifies the fruitiness of the grand arôme while softening the grassy structure of the agricole — resulting in remarkable balance and depth.

Bottled at natural strength, RéPY #3 delivers layers of tropical fruit, spice and oak, carried by Savanna’s trademark high-ester vibrancy. A small-batch release from the celebrated Réunion Private Cask (RéPY) series.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of overripe pineapple, banana and spice. Velvety palate with vanilla, toasted wood and tropical fruit. Long, warm, slightly saline finish.
