For more than 20 years, Plantation Rum Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel has explored the world of rum and its terroirs in search of traditional production methods.

For this one-time limited edition, he handpicked 19 casks from Alcoholes Del Istmo Distillery.

In Plantation Rum's signature double-ageing technique, this unique expression aged 12 years in Panama, then shipped by sea to the south-west of France, where it matured another year in French oak Ferrand Cognac casks.

The intense flavours of this Panama 2008 pay homage to the island's southern terroir. Its tropical weather offering the perfect conditions for sugarcane cultivation. All in line to offer a delicate, yet complex expression.
