Palenqueros Tobala comes from Don Baltazar Cruz Gomez in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca. Don Balta has been producing for many years and his mezcals have been featured and highly prized for some time. This mezcal has aromas of lime, salt, pepper, and red fruits like raspberry and strawberry. The palate is full of fruit like pineapple and banana, mixing with tobacco and floral notes.

Palenqueros Mezcal is marketed as Single Palenque mezcal, meaning that it’s produced by a single mezcalero at a single distilling facility. The brand is a collaboration project between Tradición Chagoya, which owns and operates other mezcal brands like Donaji and Los Cuerudos, and Velier Italia, an Italian spirits company.
