NODO Coffee Liqueur is a testament to Mexican craft, blending Tequilana Weber agave spirit from Zacatecas with freshly roasted coffee beans in a process as meticulous as it is modern. The agave is cooked in stainless autoclaves, fermented with wild yeast, and twice-distilled in hybrid copper-stainless stills before meeting coarse-ground coffee for a 15-day infusion. Raw cane syrup—just enough to balance—completes this quartet of ingredients (agave, coffee, water, sugar), yielding a 35% ABV liqueur that’s rich without cloying sweetness.
The nose greets with fresh coffee grounds and orange peel, while the palate unfolds with medium-roast coffee, caramelized agave leaves, and a whisper of milk caramel. The texture is velvety yet clean, ideal for neat sipping over ice or elevating espresso martinis without overpowering them.
A two-stage extraction (French-press coffee meets cold-agave infusion) ensures depth, while Zacatecas’ mineral-rich well water adds terroir. This is coffee liqueur rethought for purists—no shortcuts, just the alchemy of fire, time, and stone-ground beans.
