Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur (32%, 70cl)

The iconic Luxardo Maraschino is a unique liqueur made from Marasca cherries. Cherries, incl. stones and even leaves, are infused in alcohol in large vats of larch wood for up to 3 years. It is all distilled in copper pot stills, and the "heart" of the distillation is allowed to age further on larch wood. When it is ready, the spirit is flavored with sugar and watered down to 32%.

Color: Clear.
Smell: Quite unusual and not at all cherry-like, but very fruity and inviting.
Taste: Thick, sweet and creamy in taste. Notes of orange marmalade, vanilla and almond.
