Malditos Traidores Destilado De Agave Ensamble Blanco y Verde is a small batch ancestral agave spirit produced in Palmar Segundo, Mexquitic de Carmona, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Crafted by master distiller Manuel Navarro, this expression highlights a traditional field blend of Blanco (Agave americana var. oaxacensis) and Verde (Agave salmiana) harvested from regional mineral rich soils.

The production process relies on traditional methods executed in small micro batches, with this specific June 2025 bottling yielding just 220 liters. The mature agave piñas are cooked in a traditional brick oven to hydrolyze the complex starches into fermentable sugars. Following cooking, the agaves are ground using a classic stone tahona mill to extract the juice and fiber. Natural fermentation occurs spontaneously in open vats, enriched with regional pulque made from Agave mapisaga. The fermented liquid undergoes two distillations in a traditional copper alembic still before being brought to a bottling strength of 48.7% ABV without chill filtration, coloring, or synthetic additives.

The profile is vibrant, complex, and deeply rustic, balancing bright green vegetal notes with rich earthiness and spice. The nose opens with aromas of green bell pepper, roasted pineapple, fresh lime peel, and damp earth, complemented by subtle hints of white pepper and herbal brine. On the palate, a smooth and oily mouthfeel delivers rich flavors of sweet cooked agave, lemon curd, wild mint, and a light mineral salinity. The finish is long, warm, and clean, leaving lingering notes of white pepper, crushed stone, and delicate wood smoke.
