Luxardo Cherry Sangue Morlacco Liqueur (30%, 70cl)

Luxardo Cherry Liqueur “Sangue Morlacco” is a luxurious and historic liqueur made from the finest marasca cherries. Each summer, the cherries are harvested, and part of their juice is naturally fermented before being blended with neutral alcohol to halt fermentation. This blend is then aged in oak vats, resulting in a liqueur that is clear, deep red, and bursting with the pungent aroma of freshly squeezed cherry juice.

On the palate, it is intense, thick, and syrupy, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. Renamed “Sangue Morlacco” (Morlacco Blood) in 1919 by the famous Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio, this liqueur carries a rich cultural legacy, as evidenced by the poet’s dedication on the front label.
