La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge, France (16.5%, 75cl)

La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge is crafted from a selection of 28 plants and spices blended with white wines and Pineau des Charentes Rouges, releasing a complex and sumptuous bouquet of aromas. With notes of vanilla and spices, it offers an everlasting finish on the palate.

Its deep red color shines with intense brilliance.

The nose is balanced and powerful, revealing aromas of liquorice, plum, vanilla, and chocolate.

On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with caramelized, bitter vanilla and spiced notes that linger delightfully.

The La Quintinye Vermouth Royal series is named after Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinie (1623), gardener to Louis XIV. More than just weeding and mowing, Jean-Baptiste designed and developed the magnificent 800 hectares of Versailles’ classical gardens. He was also responsible for delivering fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs to the king during his stays at Versailles.
