La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Extra Dry, France (17%, 37.5cl)

La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Extra Dry is enhanced by a bouquet of 27 plants and spices blended with a selection of white wines and Pineau des Charentes Blanc, dominated by floral and citrus aromas.

Its yellow straw color is bright and inviting.

The nose offers floral and spicy notes, mixing delicate aromas of liquorice and anise.

On the palate, it is fresh and invigorating, with lively notes of flowers and lemon, complemented by the incomparable flavors of Pineau.

The La Quintinye Vermouth Royal series is named after Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinie (1623), gardener to Louis XIV. More than just weeding and mowing, Jean-Baptiste designed and developed the magnificent 800 hectares of Versailles’ classical gardens. He was also responsible for delivering fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs to the king during his stays at Versailles.
