La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc, France (16%, 37.5cl)

La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc is crafted from a subtle blend of 18 plants and white wines, combined with Pineau des Charentes Blanc to create a sumptuously round and flavorful vermouth.

Its golden color sets the stage for a nose rich with floral and fruity aromas, highlighted by sweet notes of absinthe and orange zest.

On the palate, it is sweet and elegant, unveiling the maturity of yellow fruits with a brioche-like flavor complemented by spicy undertones.

The La Quintinye Vermouth Royal series is named after Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinie (1623), gardener to Louis XIV. More than just weeding and mowing, Jean-Baptiste designed and developed the magnificent 800 hectares of Versailles’ classical gardens. He was also responsible for delivering fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs to the king during his stays at Versailles.
