L. N. Mattei, Cap Corse Grande Reserve Quinquina Rouge Aperitif (17%, 75cl)

Bittersweet aperitif from Corsica. Based on juice from Muscat and Vermentino grape. In the olden days they added quinine to fight off Malaria. Local cedrat citrus is macerated together with bark from the cinchona tree (quinine) and grape juice. The red version also included cacao and skins from walnuts. 

No added sugars, just the sugars from grape juice.
