Hampden Estate Fresh Trelawny Pure Single Rum is a vibrant white rum produced at the historic Hampden Estate in the Trelawny parish of Jamaica. Renowned for its centuries old traditional rum making practices, Hampden Estate utilizes extended fermentations with wild airborne yeasts, spring water, and traditional dunder and muck pits, followed by 100% copper double retort pot still distillation.

Unlike single mark releases or higher proof expressions like Rum Fire, Hampden Fresh is a deliberate master blend of four distinct distillery marks, combining low and medium ester profiles including OWH, LROK, and HLCF. This vatting balances the light, fruity orchard notes of lower ester distillates with the pineapple, banana, and herbal complexity of higher ester pot still spirit. Bottled unaged at an approachable 42% ABV without chill filtration, added sugar, or artificial additives, it offers a refined gateway into Trelawny terroir while maintaining signature Jamaican funk.

The profile is bright, aromatic, and expressive, balanced between tropical fruit sweetness and savory herbal notes. The nose opens with inviting aromas of green banana, fresh pineapple, lemon zest, and white flowers, accompanied by subtle hints of green olive and natural cane juice. On the palate, the texture is light yet coating, delivering flavors of tropical orchard fruit, ripe papaya, lime peel, and gentle peppery spice, supported by delicate mineral undertones. The finish is crisp, clean, and refreshing, leaving lingering trails of citrus zest, fresh herbs, and soft fruit ester sweetness.
