Named after the year Hampden Estate was founded — 1753 — this young expression captures everything that makes Jamaica’s oldest distillery legendary. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, fermented with wild yeast, and matured for three years in ex-bourbon American oak under full tropical ageing, it’s bottled with no sugar or additives to showcase Hampden’s unmistakable high-ester style.
The nose bursts with overripe tropical fruit, nutmeg, citrus, and the distillery’s signature funk. On the palate, warming spice and a touch of vanilla lift bright notes of mango, pineapple, and banana, carried confidently by its 46% ABV. A vivid introduction to Hampden’s unique world of flavour.
