Gin Nativo is the first Chilean Gin made in the heart of the Atacama Desert, at 1800 meters above sea level, based on wild native botanicals, hence its name. The botanicals are carefully harvested, macerated and distilled by hand in small batches in a town full of magic and color called El Tránsito, in the Huasco Valley in the Atacama Region.
The gin is made from grape alcohol (Pisco) and corn alcohol, which makes it unique in its class in Chile and in the world.
It is distilled by women who have inherited the trade for 3 generations, today they are the only women distillers of Pisco and Gin in Chile.
The distillery is located in the driest desert in the world, the Atacama, which according to the producers give the perfect conditions of heat, humidity and thermal amplitude that give the botanicals and fruits great aromatic intensity and flavor.
Discontinous distillation on copper pot pisco stills heated with direct wooden fire.
A total of 13 botanicals in the gin, among them: Molle, Ñipa, Ají Cristal (chilean yellow chili), Salvia, Chañar and Pink Pepper
