Giffard Orgeat Syrup is a premium, non-alcoholic cocktail syrup produced by the historic family-owned Giffard distillery in Avrillé, located in the notable Pays de la Loire region of France. Founded in 1885 by local pharmacist Émile Giffard, the house has spent over a century engineering natural flavor extractions, refining this particular classic recipe since 1910 to meet the rigorous demands of professional mixology.

The production relies on 100% pure sugar beet sugar dissolved in French spring water, infused with natural flavorings derived entirely from real almonds. This traditional formula avoids the artificial chemical agents frequently found in lower tier almond syrups. The liquid is flash pasteurized to seal in the aromatic nut oils safely without the addition of artificial preservatives, creating a stable, high density emulsion bottled in a professional 100cl glass format.

The profile is rich, confectionery, and deeply comforting, showing a thick, milky appearance with an off-white color reminiscent of coconut cream. The nose is remarkably gourmet and fragrant, offering distinct layers of crushed marzipan, toasted bitter almond, and sweet frangipane.
