Corsieri Del Palio Rosso, Vermouth (16.5%, 75cl)

 

This vermouth is a tribute to Asti's historic city and its famous horse race "Il Palio", based on a traditional recipe from Valsa Nuova Perlino, founded in 1905 near Asti. As a Vermouth di Torino, it's been a Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) since 2017 and must be produced and bottled in Piedmont with a minimum alcohol content of 16%. Corsieri Del Palio Vermouth - Rosso gives hints of citrus and spices, with complex notes of bitter-sweet orange, rhubarb, cinnamon, and vanilla. These sweet flavors carry through the taste and in the finish, the bitter notes come forward in this golden ruby-colored vermouth.
