Vittore Red Vermouth, Spain (15%, 75cl)

Vermouth Vittore Rojo shows a bright dark amber color with iodine sparkles. It opens with balsamic aromas of Mediterranean herbs such as oregano, fennel, and thyme, accented by a touch of licorice and fresh citrus. On the palate, it delivers a balanced acidity and sweetness, with flavours of cinnamon, licorice, and cloves, finishing with a pleasant bitter herb note and a long, persistent flavour.

As the oldest vermouth in Valencia, it follows the original recipe created by Benedetto Valsangiacomo, 3rd generation of the family, from the early 20th century. The 5th generation now revives the original Vermouth Vittore label as a tribute to this rich heritage.

This vermouth is crafted from a Macabeo white wine base, macerated with 24 botanicals of Mediterranean and alpine origin, including gentian, wormwood, coriander, savory, sage, oregano, chamomile, sauco, and orange peel. Its characteristic golden hue comes from the addition of grape must caramel.
