Edradour 12 Years Caledonia Selection Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an artisanal expression produced at the historic Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry, Scotland. Traditionally recognized as one of the smallest farm distilleries in Scotland, Edradour crafts single malts using traditional equipment, including small copper pot stills and an open cast-iron worm tub.

Selected by singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean and named after his iconic anthem, this expression is aged for a total of 12 years. The maturation process begins in ex-bourbon oak barrels before undergoing an extended finishing period of 4 to 5 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a robust strength of 46% ABV without chill filtration or added coloring, it presents a rich, unhurried style of Highland whisky making.

The profile is rich, heavy, and deeply sherried, showing a thick, mouth-coating body. The nose opens with aromas of dried figs, dark raisins, toasted almonds, and orange marmalade, backed by notes of Christmas cake and polished wood. On the palate, the liquid delivers bold flavors of dark honey, Christmas pudding, toasted oak spice, and dark chocolate, balanced by a subtle nutty bitterness. The finish is long, warm, and lingering, leaving trails of dried fruit, spicy oak, and dark cocoa.
