Cascahuin Tequila, Tahona Blanco, 100% De Agave (42%, 70cl)
Cascahuin Tequila, known for its traditional techniques, is a highly-regarded distillery situated in the heart of Tequila. In contrast to many modern distilleries in Jalisco, Cascahuín values craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations over quantity-driven methods. A prime example of this is their reintroduction of the ancient tahona technique, used for crushing baked agave, in lieu of the more efficient roller mill from the 1980s. One noteworthy change is the replacement of the traditional donkey, responsible for pulling the heavy stone wheel, with an electric motor. This small modification is just one of the many unique aspects of Cascahuín's production process that showcases their unwavering dedication to producing the highest-quality tequila.
