Compass Box Juveniles is a unique whisky born from the collaboration between renowned whisky blender Compass Box and Parisian wine bar Juveniles Bistrot à Vins. This special creation celebrates both the art of whisky and the enduring friendship between whisky maker John Glaser and wine bar owner Tim Johnston. In response to Tim’s request for a whisky that is “bright, smooth, not smoky,” John Glaser expertly blended whiskies from Strathmill, Balmenach, Clynelish, and Glendullan. These whiskies, drawn from a mix of refill hogsheads, re-charred hogsheads, and both first-fill and refill sherry butts, come together to create a lively and bright dram. The result is a harmonious balance of barley sugar and pear drop notes, sweet vanilla, and a subtle herbal undertone.
