Cocchi Americano is an aromatized wine created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi, produced continuously according to the original recipe. The name “Americano” refers both to its bitter (“amaricato”) herbal infusion and the American custom of drinking vermouth with ice and soda. It is recognized in Asti as the aperitif par excellence and a true symbol of the town’s history. Its label features the original futurist rooster from the 1930s, symbolizing its role in “awakening the appetite.”

Cocchi Rosa is a variant made with red wines from Piedmont, which gives it its natural red color and wild rose notes. This aromatized wine contains natural extracts of gentian, cinchona, citrus, saffron, vanilla, and rose petals.

How to drink Cocchi Rosa:
Traditionally served in a cocktail glass with ice, a spray of soda, and a zest of rose grapefruit. Soda can be replaced by ginger beer, lemon soda, or tonic water. For a spritz, mix with Brachetto wine and garnish with rosemary and a zest of rose grapefruit or lemon. It pairs well with spirits like gin, vodka, and mescal and is ideal for low-alcohol “low octane” cocktails.

Available in our Copenhagen store or for delivery across the EU.
