Chichibu, Ichiro's Malt, Paris Edition, 2024, Kokyo vs Notre-Dame, Japan, Single Malt Whisky (50.5%, 70cl)
An exceptional blend for the Paris Edition 2024
The Chichibu - Paris Edition 2024 is a remarkable Japanese whisky, made from the blend of 12 bourbon barrels, two quarter casks (chibidaru) and a cask that has contained red wine. Aged between six and seven years, it embodies the art of controlled aging, specific to the Chichibu distillery, and is in line with previous editions with even more refinement.
Subtle peat and refined complexity
This whisky is distinguished by a rich and evolving aromatic and taste palette. The peaty notes, still more subtle than in previous editions, bring depth and structure. Its balance between freshness and power, as well as the complexity of the flavors resulting from its aging in red wine barrels, make the Chichibu - Paris Edition 2024 Kōkyo a cuvée of rare and captivating elegance.
