Break Even Bottle - May 2024, Chichibu Ichiro's Malt, Red Wine Cask 2023, 50.5% - 2 cl sample

Every 1st weekend of the month we open an interesting (often rare) bottle from our secret collection, so that enthusiasts can try things that otherwise are hard to find open.

There is a limited number of drams in the bottle available so make sure you get yours asap and swing by to enjoy it at your convenience within 30 days from the purchase date.

In May that bottle is Chichibu Red Wine Cask 2023 is a new release from Chichibu Distillery in Japan. It is composed of a total of 36 different casks of whiskey between 6 and 13 years old. All the casks are former red wine casks from France, USA, New Zealand and even Japan. The whiskey is bottled at 50.5% alcohol and neither chill-filtered nor caramel color added.
