Break Even Bottle - August 2025, Hazelburn, 9 years, Barolo Cask Matured, 2007, 57.9% - 2 cl sample

Every 1st weekend of the month we open an interesting (often rare) bottle from our secret collection, so that enthusiasts can try things that otherwise are hard to find open.

There is a limited number of drams in the bottle available so make sure you get yours asap.

On August 8th, that bottle is Hazelburn 9 years old, Barolo Cask Matured, Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

The 2016 edition of Hazelburn Barolo began its maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by a three-year finish in refill Barolo wine casks. This process yields a whisky that is both sweet and spicy, featuring flavors of dried fruit, raisin, coconut, and a hint of pepper.

Only 10.800 bottles of this were released.
