Bozal Mezcal Ensamble, Espadin, Barril, Mexicano (47%, 70cl)

Founded in 2016, Bozal is a fairly new player to the agave world, but the producers have been making mezcal for generations. Bozal works with a wide variety of agaves from the steep hillsides of Oaxaca, Durango and Guerrero. The beautiful ceramic bottle is an ode to the old ways of storing mezcal, and is at the same time a showcase of the local arts and crafts in Oaxaca.
