Bordiga Vermouth di Torino Bianco reveals the secret of its sublime character in the precious Nebbiolo wine from Piedmont, famous for Barolo and Barbaresco, expertly blended with white wines and infusions of herbs, spices, and roots.
Only high-quality raw materials are used, including many Alpine botanicals hand-picked in the Cuneo Alps, fine Piedmontese wines, and exotic spices. The complex botanical mix features absinthe, marjoram, fennel, linden, coriander, citrus peels, cardamom, bigarade, Madagascan bourbon vanilla, cloves, gentian root, cinchona calissaya, and sage.
The production follows an ancient, traditional process lasting 40-50 days before bottling. After bottling, the vermouth rests in Bordiga’s cellars at a steady 10°C for 15-20 days before release. Filtration is done naturally by refrigeration and with paper filters, preserving the vermouth's full aromatic profile.
This vermouth has a bright straw-yellow color with fresh floral and herbal aromas and a smooth, balanced palate enriched by the subtle bitterness of gentian and wormwood.
