Steeped in Italian tradition since 1888, this iconic liqueur carries the legacy of Piedmont's artisanal distilling heritage. Unlike modern imitations, the original Bordiga recipe begins with wild peach and apricot stones—crushed to release their delicate almond essence—then harmonized with alpine herbs, pure cane sugar, and crystalline water from the Maritime Alps.
The process remains unchanged: a slow, cold maceration in copper stills extracts the stones' subtle marzipan character, while a selection of mountain botanicals adds depth. The result is a liqueur that glides across the palate—first with the nostalgic sweetness of fresh almond paste, then unfolding into hints of wild cherry and vanilla, before finishing with the clean minerality of alpine spring water.
