Papalin is a project dedicated to blends conceived by Luca Gargano, with the aim of bringing together rums from Caribbean islands that have been entirely produced and aged at distilleries. After the release dedicated to Jamaica, the spotlight shifts to Haiti, with a rum blend of 7 casks from three clairin distilleries: Sajous, Vaval and Casimir. Each has been pot still distilled. Aged for 6 years at the Port-au-Prince distillery, in casks that previously held the oloroso sherry of the famous Lustau house.
