Carl and his crazy mind palace of flavors, remembered to have tried an Akvavit with sumac many years ago, and decided then and there to one day add it to a Gin. It added a lovely layer of citrus which he had not seen done before.
Together with hibiscus, angelica, lemon, coriander, and of course juniper you get a really fresh take on a London Dry Gin that opens up beautifully with tonic.
